Heart-shaped glass pearl necklace

In bead lampworking, a glass rod is softened by the heat of the fire produced by a blowtorch. The molten vitreous mass is then wrapped around a metal mandrel in order to give the pearl the desired shape, after which the decoration is carried out using polychrome glass.
